I support life imprisonment without parole for the most serious crimes. I'm in favor or extensive makeovers of our prison systems to prepare inmates that are to be released to be integrated back into the community. No prison should not be a college for criminals. b) I support legalization of medical marijuana and recreational marijuana in low doses. If so, government should also ensure the quality of legal marijuana

In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- First, I would establish statewide nonpartisan redistricting. Those minimal costs can be cover by funds available. Second, I would expand Medicaid. In North Carolina, the medical community has agreed to pay the 10% share. It would be a minor cost to the state to start up and would bring billions in economic revenue to the state. Third, I would increase education funding to raise teacher salaries to at least the national average, reduce class size, restore teacher assistants, and provide internet access to all students. My constituents support paying taxes for quality education. It is an investment in our future.
