Reason for Seeking Public Office:
I was asked why I was running for office the other day. Its pretty simple actually. Ive watched for a long time as we send delegate after delegate to Charleston to do nearly the exact same thing..... and its fairly obvious its not even close to successful!! I am running because I have a deep love for West Virginia and I am tired of seeing it continue to fail. To be sure there are no simple answers. However, I can promise you that freedom and liberty will have no bigger friend than I if elected. I will be a representative..not a ruler! The government should serve the people...not vice versa!
Being a businessman for the last 27 or so years has taught me that tough times just require a little ingenuity or thinking out of the box. How long has it been since we've seen anything remotely unconventional from our government? It seems the only solution is more government... more taxes... Hows that working out for us? We've got more than we've ever had and more problems than we've ever had. That... my friends... is not a coincidence! There are a lot of little things we can do to spur job creation in this state and getting the government off our backs and out of our houses is a great start!! Government is definitely too big and burdensome and definitely needs trimmed down.
As your delegate I will be your voice. Together we can right this ship and get things turned around and get folks moving back to West Virginia rather than having to move out of West Virginia. This is some of the richest land in the world... There is no reason we should be losing generation after generation of our people because there is nothing here for them. It does not have to be this way and we can and will do better!!!I
