Susan Holmes is a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 129. She was first elected to the chamber in 2010.
Holmes served as Mayor of Monticello, GA for twelve years.
Holmes earned her B.S. in business education from the University of Georgia. Her professional experience includes working as a real estate agent, teacher, postmaster, legal assistant, and CFO of a family-owned insurance company. She served twelve years as mayor of Monticello, GA.
Holmes served on the board of directors of Griffin Technical College and Piedmont Academy, and she sat on the boards of Jasper County Zoning, Jasper County Library, and Jasper Memorial Hospital.
