Priority Issues:
We're blessed with a good standard of living in Central KY, but we can make it better. I ask for your input and support so we can work together to do just that.
As I head to Frankfort for committee meetings and each session, these are some of the priorities I'll be working on:
Obtaining funding to improve our roads, beautify and preserve neighborhoods, increase the water supply, address traffic concerns, and protect homes and businesses from damaging floods.
Watching out of unfunded state mandates that have crippled many communities and made balancing tight budgets nearly impossible.
I will look for ways to improve education across the state, such as by enhancing science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programs.
Attracting new businesses to our region and providing well-prepared workers for existing employers. I know the value of jobs and how hard it is to attract and keep them. It's an ongoing effort.
Many people believe our political system is broken, or at least crippled. I believe in uniting people to get things done, and my record proves it. Through creative thinking and a cooperative spirit, we can make positive changes in how our government operates. I'll be a strong voice for change in Frankfort.
I'm proud to serve as state representative for the 39th District.
