Public funds in support of economic development, the arts and technological advancement for the public good, should also be on the table for discussion,

- Campaign reform is needed but we should be making it easier for people to vote. Current technologyallows for greater flexibility. You should be able to go to a polling place, provide proof of your address and then receive a ballot for that ID and address. Ballot tabulation should be in the presence of representatives of those on the ballot. There should be regulations to limit the amount of influence corporations can have on elections.

- Since there is always the possibility of someone being convicted of a crime they did not commit I don't think death is an appropriate punishment. I don't think marijuana should be legal but I think the penalties for possession and use should be fines, community service and not jail time. A child should not be treated as an adult but the penalty for the crime should be treated according to the severity of the crime.

There should be a regular review of state regulations and when the regulation is no longer needed it should be removed. However, states should have the ability to provide additional initiatives to satisfy local needs. The regulation of charter schools should be left to the local elected school boards. Charter schools are public schools and should be treated as such.

- I would like to see a review of the way state contracts are granted. There needs to be more contracts and spending with minority owned businesses, woman owned businesses and small businesses. There should be a prohibition on guns being made on 3D printers. Election laws should allow for easier access to voting.
