Richard Brown is a Democratic member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 27. He was first elected to the chamber in 2016.

Brown received his B.S. in broadcasting and film from the University of Central Missouri in 1986 and his M.A. in communications from the University of Central Missouri in 1996. He worked as an educator in Kansas City public schools from 1993-2017.
