- I would like to see more effort spent on maintaining the rural roads. Preventive maintenance would help keep costs down in the long run. But to do this we need to have more workers in the state road.To be able to do this we need to fund the road budget and increase the payoff the workers. May have to raise the fees on oversize and overweight vehicles. Make the permits required for each load not blanket and have a tired cost for the permits. increase the fuel tax for a set period only goes to existing roads.
