- I want to ensure that our children and grandchildren have the same opportunities to live and thrive in this magnificent Colorado environment as I did. To that end, I will work to provide 21st Century educational opportunities which requires reducing the drop out rates and closing the achievement gap, increasing the availability of affordable and comprehensive health care and encouraging Colorado's emergence as the alternative renewable energy center of the US to create high paying jobs and reduce our dependence on foreign oil and carbon energy sources.
