Paul Holvey

Paul R. Holvey (b. 1954) is a Democratic member of the Oregon House of Representatives, representing District 8. Holvey was first appointed to the chamber in January 2004 to replace Floyd Prozanski, who resigned to take a seat in the Oregon State Senate. Holvey is running for re-election in the primary on May 15, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.
Holvey attended Lane Community College, Central Washington University and the University of Oregon. He also earned a certificate from the University of Oregon Labor Education and Research Center. His professional experience includes working as a carpenter, foreman and project superintendent under various contractors. Holvey has also worked as a real estate agent, a union representative for the Pacific Northwest Carpenters and as a Community Relations Representative for The Northwest Carpenters.
