- Women make choices to care for their children and this affects their workforce experiences. I feel Idaho is quite fair in closing the pay gap. More women are entering Law School and other occupations that used to be dominated by men. They also have a tendancy to choose lower paying jobs because of the need to care for their children. Flexible schedules and less travel time away from family is important to women in Idaho.
