Chiaravalloti's campaign website highlights the following issues:
New Jersey needs a strong transportation system so our residents can get to work on time, their businesses can send products efficiently and families can have more household income. I'm committed to making sure our railroads, highways, bridges and ports are safe, strong and capable of handling a growing global economy.
As Assemblyman, I believe smart, long term investing in our transportation system will lead to less congested roads, improved movement of products and the creation of good-paying jobs that in turn boosts our economy. I will fight so that investments are spent wisely and you are afforded the opportunities that a 21st century transportation system has to offer.
By investing in New Jersey's infrastructure, manufacturing sector, educational system and ensuring that small businesses have the ability to expand we can strengthen the middle class, spur job creation and boost our economy. Long-term investment will improve and revitalize our crumbling infrastructure, providing more jobs and contributing to our economy. This will also enable manufacturers to enhance their capabilities and provide individuals the necessary tools to secure employment in today's competitive market. I want to make it easier for entrepreneurs to see their ideas come to fruition and with more access to financial capital, small businesses will be able to grow.
We have an obligation to protect the well-being of seniors and I will fight to make sure they have access to the benefits they deserve and have earned. I believe seniors deserve affordable and quality healthcare, as well as the finest facilities. Seniors on fixed incomes shouldn't have to make tough decisions; therefore, I am committed to preventing any increases in costs or limits in coverage. They have earned the right to a decent living after retirement and I will fight to preserve their economic security.
Investing in our children so that each student can live up to his or her potential is a priority I will fight for every day in the legislature. Our children deserve access to early childhood programs and a quality public education system. Students need the necessary tools to succeed in a competitive job market and I am committed to ensuring that they are provided those tools.
I believe we must support at-risk youth, students with disabilities, and lower income students by providing opportunities to assist them and enable them to succeed. I will also fight to ensure educators have the resources necessary to develop the next generation of students.
I believe we must address gang violence in order to protect our children and loved ones. By promoting efforts to prevent and combat gang activity, young individuals will be in classrooms rather than be trapped by the perils of gang activity. I will work to enhance cooperation between Law enforcement and communities to strengthen their efforts to curtail gang activity. A stronger alliance with a shared vision can result in a brighter future.
