Mike Holmes is a Republican member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 31. He was first elected to the chamber in a special election on January 28, 2014. Holmes is running for re-election in the primary on June 5, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.
Holmes was a district-level delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention from Alabama. He was one of 13 delegates from Alabama bound by state party rules to support Ted Cruz at the convention.
