Mike Carter is a Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives representing District 29. He was first elected to the chamber in 2012.
Carter received his B.S. in Pre-Law from Middle Tennessee State University in 1975. He received his J.D. from the University of Memphis in 1978. He is a practicing attorney.
