Michael 'Mike' Ashford is a Democratic member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 44. Ashford was first elected to the chamber in 2010. Ashford is a Democratic candidate for District 11 of the Ohio State Senate. The primary election is being held on May 8, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.
Ashford is unable to run for re-election in 2018 to the Ohio House of Representatives because of term limits.
Michael Ashford was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and lives in Toledo, Ohio. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a master's degree from Spring Arbor University. Ashford's career experience includes working as the vice president of urban affairs with Jewish Community Center and Young Men's Christian Association.
