Matt Hatchett is a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 150. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010.
Hatchett has served as Majority Caucus Leader since 2014. He served as Mayor Pro Tempore of Dublin, GA and on the Dublin City Council.
Hatchett earned his B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Presbyterian College. His professional experience includes owning several small businesses, including Hangers Cleaners, Bruster's Real Ice Cream, Nathan's Famous Hotdogs and Plum Alley, a women's specialty apparel store.
