Mathew W. Pitsch is a Republican member of the Arkansas House of Representatives, representing District 76. He was first elected to the chamber in 2014. Pitsch currently serves as House majority leader.
Pitsch is a Republican candidate for District 8 of the Arkansas State Senate. The primary election is being held on May 22, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.
Pitsch earned his B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering management from the University of Missouri – Rolla in 1985 and 1986, respectively. His professional experience includes working as CEO/president of McCourt Manufacturing, dean of the College of Applied Science and Technology at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith, economic developer for the Greater Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce, and leading Western Arkansas – RITA.
