Marjorie Benbow was born in North Carolina. She earned graduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992, a law degree from Wake Forest University in 1999, and an associate degree from Guilford Technical Community College in 2023. Her career experience includes working as a farmer and practicing law. Benbow has been affiliated with Rotary International, NC Zoological Society, Piedmont Craftsmen Inc, the North Carolina Motorsports Association, Guilford County Beekeepers, and the American Glass Guild.
