Lane Jean is a Republican member of the Arkansas House of Representatives, representing District 2. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010. Jean is running for re-election in the primary on May 22, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.
He is a former member of the Columbia County Quorum Court. He has also served as mayor of the City of Magnolia.
Jean earned his degree from Southern Arkansas University. His professional experience includes working as president of Reeves Land and Timber Company, as a logging contractor and as a cattle farmer.
