Kevin Rooney (Republican Party) is a member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing District 40. Rooney assumed office in 2016. Rooney's current term ends on January 11, 2022.
Rooney ran for re-election to the New Jersey General Assembly to represent District 40. Rooney won in the general election on November 5, 2019.
Upon his appointment to the chamber in 2016, he replaced Scott Rumana (R). He was elected to a new term in his own right in 2017.
Rooney served as Wyckoff Township Mayor in 2011 and again from 2015 to 2016. He also served as deputy Mayor of Wyckoff Township in 2010 and 2014.
