Karen Camper

Karen D. Camper (b. January 15, 1958) is a Democratic member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 87. She was first elected to the chamber in 2008. Following the 2014 elections, Camper was named as Minority Caucus Treasurer. She previously served as Minority Floor Leader.
Camper attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She later received her A.S. from the University of Albany-SUNY. Camper has worked as a substitute teacher for the Memphis City School System. She is the owner of Key II Entertainment. Camper is a retired Chief Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army.
