John Autry is a Democratic member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 100. Autry is running for re-election in the primary on May 8, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.
He was first elected to the chamber in 2016.
Autry is a former member of the Charlotte City Council in North Carolina, representing District 5. He was elected to the council in 2011.
Born in Fayetteville, Autry studied theatre at California State University-Fullerton. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1972 to 1976 and is currently the chief technology officer and partner at eMitigate, an organization focused on legal, financial and operating risk mitigation.
