Four of seven seats on the Dayton Public Schools school board in Ohio were up for at-large general election on November 7, 2017. One incumbent filed for re-election. Newcomers Mohamed Al‐Hamandi, William Harris Jr, Jocelyn Rhynard, and Karen Wick‐Gagnet defeated incumbent Joe Lacey, former candidate Ann Marie Gallin, and newcomers Paul Bradley and Jo'el Jones.

Donna Hill and Claudia Hunter also filed for election, but were disqualified when they were found not to have enough signatures to be certified candidates.
