1. Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
- Pro-choice
2. Should abortion be legal when the pregnancy resulted from incest or rape?
- Yes
3. Do you support the prohibition of public funds for organizations that perform abortions?
- No
4. Other or expanded principles
- Prior to Roe v. Wade, abortions were available for affluent women who could pay doctors willing to perform the procedure illegally. Poor women, however, were more likely to attempt dangerous abortions that led to health problems or even death. Roe v. Wade should have put an end to these practices. But the restrictions placed on public funding make it difficult for poor women to access safe abortions. The decision to have an abortion should be made by a woman in consultation with her doctor. If she chooses abortion, she should have access to a safe procedure regardless of her finances.

In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- I support stable and consistent funding for K-12 schools and higher education. Our number one priority should be investing in our schools, colleges and universities to ensure we have an educated workforce and citizenry.
I support restoring funding for social services that our most vulnerable populations rely on. We need to ensure our senior citizens, residents with disabilities and others who may live on the margins have access to needed services.
I support implementation of a graduated income tax.
