Wallace "Jay" H. Jordan is a Republican member of the South Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 63. He was first elected to the chamber in 2015.
He was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 7th Congressional District of South Carolina.
On February 17, 2012, Jordan was placed "On the Radar" in the National Republican Congressional Committee's Young Guns program. Founded in the 2007-2008 election cycle, the Young Guns Program was founded by House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy and Rep. Paul Ryan, to identify and support strong Republican candidates.
Jordan's professional experience includes working as a lawyer in the Pee Dee region. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and has been chair of the Florence County Election Commission and Voter Registration Board.
