Jared Carpenter (b. April 26, 1977) is a Republican member of the Kentucky State Senate, representing District 34. Carpenter was first elected to the chamber in 2010. Carpenter is running for re-election in the primary on May 22, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.
Carpenter earned his B.S. in Speech Communications from Eastern Kentucky University in 2000. His professional experience includes working as a Business Development Officer at First Southern National Bank and operating a small rental and development company and a farm in Berea.
