James "Jim" Buck (b. July 30, 1945) is a Republican member of the Indiana State Senate, representing District 21. Buck is running for re-election in the primary on May 8, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.
He was selected by the Republican caucus to finish the term of Jeff Drozda in 2008. In 2010 Buck was re-elected to a full term. He previously served in the Indiana House of Representatives from 1994 to 2008.
Buck earned his B.S. in business administration and his MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. His professional experience includes working as vice president of WWKI’s We Care, a local charity, Tool and Die Mold Maker and Real Estate Broker.
