Jake Wheatley Jr. is a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 19. He was first elected to the chamber in 2002.
Wheatley earned his B.A. in political science from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and his M.P.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. His professional experience includes working as Senior Associate of Training and Education for the Coro Center for Civic Leadership, for the Office of the County Clerk and as executive assistant of Community Relations for Pittsburgh City Council District 6. Wheatley served in the United States Marine Corps as part of Operation Desert Storm/Shield from 1989 to 1992.
