Gerald E. Greene (b. January 20, 1948) is a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 151. He was first elected to the chamber in 1982.
Greene's professional experience includes working as a STAR Teacher farmer, owner of a greenhouse-nursery, Instructor in political science/Western Civilization at Andrew College, and a teacher in Social Studies in the Randolph-Clay School System.
Following his unopposed victory in the November 2, 2010, general election, Greene switched his party affiliation from Democrat to Republican. He stated, “I love the Democratic party, and I have no ill will for anyone in the party. This isn’t about anything that anyone did. I just wanted to be where I could help the people of this district most."
