Ernie Harris (b. December 23, 1947) is a Republican member of the Kentucky State Senate, representing District 26. Harris was first elected to the chamber in 1994. Harris is running for re-election in the primary on May 22, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.

Harris earned his B.A. in business administration from the University of Kentucky and his M.A. in management from Webster University. His professional experience includes working as a United Postal Service pilot, a dairy and tobacco farmer, and a commercial airline pilot. He served as a lieutenant colonel in the United States Air Force.
