Elena Parent (b. December 27, 1975) is a Democratic member of the Georgia State Senate, representing District 42. She previously served in the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 81 from 2011 to 2013.
Parent earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia. Her professional experience includes working as the Director of Development for HOPE Atlanta, a nonprofit dedicated to preventing homelessness, Chief of Staff for Sen. David Adelman and as a Litigator for the firm of Sutherland Asbill & Brennan.
