On August 8, 2024, Seabaugh was arrested for drunk driving after police say he veered into a bike lane and crashed into a cyclist, who was injured. As of August 16, 2024, Seabaugh faces seven charges, including driving under the influence of alcohol. Of the incident, Seabaugh said, “I was not intoxicated or speeding. I turned right onto Memorial Drive from Boulevard and attempted remain in the right-most lane as required by Georgia law. Unfortunately, there was not proper signage to let me know it had recently converted into a bike lane.”
