In June 2018, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that Hof was accused of raping a prostitute who worked at his brothel in 2005. In April 2018, two other prostitutes who worked for Hof said that he sexually assaulted them. No charges were brought against Hof and he denied the allegations.
