Deliris Montanez Berrios (Democratic Party) (also known as DMB) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Texas' 16th Congressional District. She lost in the Democratic primary on March 1, 2022.
Berrios also ran for election to the El Paso City Council to represent District 1 in Texas. She lost in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Deliris Montanez Berrios was born in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico. Berrios served in the U.S. Army from 1990 to 2019. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Puerto Rico at Cayey in 1992 and a graduate degree from Webster University in 2003. Berrios' career experience includes working as a federal border patrol agent for Customs and Border Protection under the Department of Homeland Security. She has been affiliated with the Zaragoza Rotary Club, the El Paso Downtown Lions Club, the Westside Democrats of El Paso, the Tejano Democrats of El Paso, and Dance for Dreams.
