Increasing the budget for funding our public education isn't helping our children have a better education. In fact, most of the budget goes into the administration and not for teachers salaries. One more item of concern is building glass castles for elementary, middle schools and high schools. A school is for teaching and learning, the building itself doesn't do this it is the teachers.

Legislative Priorities

In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- I am running to bring common sense to the issues in our state government. We need to solve the transportation issues and repeal the tolls, create better highway systems which will ease our traffic congestion. Our education needs to be reformed with less testing requirements. Teachers should be held accountable by their performance and not by tenure. There are horrible teachers that are still teaching with horrible evaluations, but because of the teachers unions are not fired. We need to have safe communities, not homeless encampments with drugs and sex trafficking in our neighborhoods.
