In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- I?m for affordable, quality healthcare for all, with pricing transparency, including pharmaceuticals. Oregon?s schools are overcrowded, and too many students drop out. We must reduce class sizes, fund career-technical classes, and make childcare and college more affordable. Large companies must pay their share in educating their workforce. We must stand up for workers, consumers, diverse communities, women and LGTBQ rights, and for our environment. I will work to see that seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities receive the help they need. We need more affordable housing and living wage jobs, and I support family businesses, the backbone of our communities.
