Dean M. Mortimer is a Republican member of the Idaho State Senate, representing District 30. Mortimer was first elected to the chamber in 2008. Mortimer is running for re-election in the primary on May 15, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.

Mortimer previously served in the Idaho House of Representatives from 2006 to 2008.

Mortimer earned his B.S. in Speech from Utah State University and his M.B.A. from Utah State University. His professional experience includes owning a construction and property management company and working in the financial services industry.
