Danny Crawford is a Republican member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 5. He was first elected to the chamber in a special election on February 16, 2016. Crawford is running for re-election in the primary on June 5, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.

Crawford received his B.A. and M.A. from Auburn University. His professional experience includes serving as state director of the Farm Service Agency and working as a crop insurance contractor. He served on the Athens City Council from 1993 to 2005. He has been a member of the National Rifle Association.
