On March 6, 2024, Rodimer turned himself in at the Clark County Detention Center after Las Vegas authorities issued a warrant for his arrest on one charge of open murder. He was wanted in relation to the death of Christoper Tapp, 47, of Idaho. Rodimer's attorneys said he “intends on vigorously contesting the allegations and asks that the presumption of innocence guaranteed all Americans be respected.” Rodimer was due to appear in court on April 10, 2024. On May 8, 2024, Rodimer pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder.
