• October 4, 2022: The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that Everytown for Gun Safety launched a $2.1 million ad campaign opposing Mastriano and U.S. Senate candidate Mehmet Oz (R).

• September 30, 2022: The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that Commonwealth Leaders Fund suspended its ads opposing Shapiro with $3.2 million remaining on its reservation.

• August 31, 2022: Conservation Voters of Pennsylvania Victory Fund and Natural Resource Defense Council Action Votes jointly purchased a $500,000 ad buy opposing Mastriano.
