Texas Railroad Commissioner (2012-present)
On November 6, 2012, Craddick was elected to serve on the Texas Railroad Commission alongside then-Chairman Barry Smitherman and David Porter. The commission oversees the oil and gas industry, gas utilities, pipeline safety, and surface coal and uranium mining for Texas, among other responsibilities.
