Brigadier General (Ret.) Chris Walker was born in New York, New York. He served as a commander in the West Virginia Air National Guard from 2019 to 2023 and as Brigadier General in the United States Air Force from 1983 to 2023. Walker earned a high school diploma from Brooklyn Technical High School and a bachelor's degree from the United States Air Force Academy in 1988. He has been affiliated with the NRA, Gun Owners of America, West Virginia Citizens Defense League, Stand Together Against Racism and Radicalism in the Services, Rotary Club, and the American Legion.
