- On the Confederate monuments, I do not believe that removing something from your eyesight will lead to healing for people who are offended by the monuments. It is my hope that one day this country will embrace reconciliation and move into a healing space where racism is eradicated and no longer exist in America.

- Medicaid Expansion- We have to many NC Citizens that do not qualify for medicaid, or can not afford to participate in the Healthcare Exchange. We need to find a way to cover these individuals.Equal Pay- Removing gender pay gap would require companies to practice fair pay practices which would come from the company's resources. It would also assist with reducing poverty.School Safety-Mandate school support staff:School Resource Officers, Counselors, Nurses, and Social Workers, in addition to raising teacher pay and reinstating masters pay. Wages are stagnant, a livable wage would help all working people.
