Caleb Kleinpeter was born in Grosse Tete, Louisiana, and lives in Port Allen, Louisiana. Kleinpeter graduated from Brusly High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2001 to 2005. Kleinpeter earned a bachelor's degree in business. His career experience includes working with Kelly’s Industrial Service, Inc.

If no candidate does, the top two vote recipients from the primary advance to the general election, regardless of their partisan affiliation.
