Legislative Priorities

In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- 1. Affordable Housing. We have a crisis with a severe lack of housing at all price points. This problem contributes to homelessness and people moving to the mainland. TOD gives us a unique opportunity to create more affordable housing by densifying the urban core to keep the country country.2. Economic Growth. Instead of always looking to increase taxes, we must instead look to spur economic growth to increase tax revenues. Investments in spurring development of high-tech and high-paying jobs will yield high returns.3. Environment, climate change and sea level rise.
