Billie Sutton is a Democratic member of the South Dakota State Senate, representing District 21. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010. Sutton currently serves as state Senate minority leader. Sutton previously served as assistant minority leader in 2015.
Sutton is unable to run for re-election in 2018 to the South Dakota State Senate because of term limits.
