Anne Gonzales is a Republican member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 19. Gonzales was first elected to the chamber in 2010. Gonzales is a Republican candidate for District 3 of the Ohio State Senate. The primary election is being held on May 8, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.
Gonzales is unable to run for re-election in 2018 to the Ohio House of Representatives because of term limits.
Gonzales served on the Westerville City Council for eight years and as Mayor of Westerville.
Anne Gonzales lives in Westerville, Ohio. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and communication from Otterbein College. Gonzales' career experience includes working as a real estate agent with Street Sotheby's International Realty.

Priority Issues:
Recognition of Westerville as the 15th best place to live the United States by CNN's Money Magazine;
Participating in the development and planning of the annexation of 941 acres into Westerville;
Planning and developing Westar/Altair office park. This office park has resulted in over 4,500 new jobs and an additional $3.5 million in new income tax revenues.
Expansion of the Westerville park system by serving on PROS 2000 which allowed the Parks and Recreation Department to expand its park system to 550 acres with 39 parks and facilities. This included the construction of the 96,600 square foot Community Center and expanding Westerville's 23 miles of leisure paths and bike trails.
Participating in the planning and development of three major office parks in order to expand Westerville tax revenue. These office centers provide a multitude of rental or ownership possibilities for businesses in the research and development, office/warehouse, and light industrial fields.
Supporting all tax abatements and tax incentives to encourage companies to do business in Westerville;
Promoting a high quality public safety services that includes our Police, Fire, and Communications Divisions. For the eleventh time, Westerville's Division of Fire received the Fire Life Safety Award;
Making Your Tax Dollars Count Award;
Redeveloping the South State Street Corridor;
Participating in the effort of adding to the City's fiber optic infrastructure and providing greater access to existing Central Ohio fiber networks; and
Emphasizing sustainability and environment-friendly or "green" efforts with participation in the Franklin County Green Pact.
Representative Gonzales and her husband, John have three children, Jennifer, Lois and Richard.
