Alan Baker is a Republican member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 66. He was first elected in 2006. Baker is running for re-election in the primary on June 5, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.
Baker was born on July 15, 1956. His professional experience includes working as the director of a mortgage and refinance business and serving as a teacher and coach at T.R. Miller High School. He has been on the board of directors for the American Red Cross of Escambia County, Brewton Area Young Men's Christian Association, Children's Advocacy Center, and Habitat for Humanity. He has been a member of the Brewton Kiwanis Club, Escambia County Retired Educators Association, and the First Baptist Church of Brewton.
