Legislative Priorities

Please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- Michigan needs financial and budget reform that includes two year budgets, a reduction in size of state government, and quarterly survey of business to track trends. To become more competitive, we need to have a tax and regulatory reform, and provide a stable and predictable tax environment. Michigan has great assets such as the Great Lakes, strong universities, and agriculture - those assets need to be leveraged to attract people back to the State. We need to partner with universities and grow the venture capital pool.
