Flor Yanira Gurrola Valenzuela was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, and lives in New Mexico. Valenzuela earned a bachelor’s degree in electronic industrial engineering from El Instituto Tecnólogico de Chihuahua and a master’s degree in curriculum and instructional leadership from The College of Santa Fe. Valenzuela's career experience includes working as a teacher with Albuquerque Public Schools and professional development coordinator. Valenzuela served on the board of directors for Dual Language Education New Mexico.
The primary will occur on June 4, 2024. The general election will occur on November 5, 2024. General election candidates will be added here following the primary.
