Travis Holdman is a Republican member of the Indiana State Senate, representing District 19. He was first elected to the chamber in 2008. Holdman is running for re-election in the primary on May 8, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.
Holdman was a district-level delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention from Indiana. All 57 delegates from Indiana were bound by state party rules to support Donald Trump at the convention. As of July 13, 2016, Trump had approximately 1,542 delegates. The winner of the Republican nomination needed the support of 1,237 delegates. Trump formally won the nomination on July 19, 2016.
Holdman earned his B.A. from Southeast Missouri State University, his M.S. from the University of St. Francis and his J.D. from Indiana University. His professional experience includes working as Deputy Prosecutor for Wells County and attorney for Holdman Consult/Holdman Law.
